Six Flags over Jesus
Ok sooooo I had a graduation on Saturday!
it was only for my associates but it was fun .... I am in the bachelors program so this was just extra.
Have you ever just had the feeling that people dont want you around???
Our graduation was held at SouthEast Christian Church ... or as my mom lickes to call it SIX FLAGS OVER JESUS!
this place is I am sure bigger than most UNIVERSITIES!!!! it is HUGE!
They have a SHUTTLE!!!!
anyway here is what happened:
First I was told I was not elligible ... when the Dean of students himself said I was, so of course the PROGRAm did not have my name in it because it was already sent to the printers!
Then I had a 3.757 GPA ... to earn the presidents cup you need a 3.7 SOOOO I should get it right.... well it was not on my card!
So Up and Down the stairs FOUR TIMES to correct that ( did I mention I have Lupus.... welll I have LUPUS.... we Lupies can't be doin that up and down the stairs craap!!!)
Ok so Now I am getting the presidents cup ... but they gave me the wrong number. my number was 151and 1/2 ... NO ONE ELSE had a half number!
the rest of the people getting my degree and awards were 400-500
So I just placed myself next to a classmate
Then this NAZI fella I was next too kept pretending like he was standing next to me right .... then when it was time to sit down he would jump over a seat ... thereby leaving a seat empty between us! so EVERYONE in the entire place is next to each other no spaces ... EXCEPT next to me!
Ok so Finally I am called my picture is taken and TAAAA DAAAAAA time to go sit down again ..... evil boy did his trick again ... but this time I sat next to him anyway HAAAA!
he kept sighing alll loud .... so I would just "spread out" more and take up more of the armrest ... STUPID PUNK!
ok so graduation was over.... time to get my actual diploma
so I wait in line ... FOREVER ... only to find out ... it was not printed!
INTRESTING ... NOT PRINTED YOU SAY!
Welll I was fine with all the mess ups because this was not a real graduation ..... this was a BONUS graduation
but
when the next one ... you know the real one comes around .... I am gonna be MAD!
My mom and Aly took me to my favorite resturant ( Captain's Quarters I love their Big Fat Greek Salad!!!!)
and then they had Cake and Ice cream for me at home
So a good time was had by all

yay! mubarak on your bonus graduation! LOL re that church - i think i heard about it from gavin and arlene. sounds very much like our huge mormon church here. when you drive from baltimore to dc and you turn this one curve, suddenly there is this enormous white pointy church jutting out amongst the trees. it looks like there should be rollercoasters and lines of kids waiting to shake mickey mouse's hand there.

What a dumb redneck. Did he think you're non-white non-Christianness would rub off on him or something and he'd perhaps melt before he got to show off his shiny hat and gown? Psh. You shoulda sat on him. Or hugged him. Or put him in a headlock. :D
