My husbands mother is sick. We think she has had a stroke but we are not sure.
Please make du`aa for her.
We are working on getting her here. Which seems to be going well as the hospital in Mauritania said there is nothing they can do and have released her. They said they needed further tests that are not available here. So we need an appointment with a specialist here in order to obtain a visa. I am sure this will not be a problem inshaAllah.
We just moved into a one bedroom ... oh man I love it so much....Oh well. But now we have to transfer to a 2 bedroom ( yup ... move twice in less than 2 months).
I have NO problem with her moving in with us... I just keep thinking if it was my mother what would I want done ... ya know. So I am happy to help in any way I can!
The problem is this:
I dont speak arabic... and she doesn't speak english!
We cannot get Dish or Direct Tv ( which ever one has arabic channels) because of our apartment (can you blame them ... those things are ugly!). Also my mother in law is unable to read. So that is going to be pretty dull don't you think. All this and she is not feeling well!
But I know we will have lots of visitors.
You know what that means right!
I am going to have to learn how to make Mauritanian green tea! I have REFUSED to learn up to now.
Why you ask??? ( you did ask did'nt you)
Because it is a long drawn out affair! AND they drink it in 3s!
so that is THREE Times me fuss!
Chai is sooo easy to make ... you just put your water, milk , spices, and tea then let it cook forever and TA DAAAAAAAAA
But NOOOOOOOOO this is MUCH to much work!
Anyway my husband will now be working MORE than overtime because I am still unable to work and now he is taking care of both of us in a larger apartment plus he is also in school Full time. (so please make Du`aa for him as well!)
Anyway I neeed some ADVICE! What do I doooooooooooooo?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!
